Background
Dr. Richard Agjei holds a PhD in Public Health (UCN), Master’s degree in Public (Imperial College London), MSc. in Chemistry and PGCE from (UEF, Finland) & (Haaga-Helia, Finland) respectively. He has obtained professional training in Leadership and Management in Health and Epidemiology for Global Health from the University of Washington, USA. He is currently a lecturer and Research Associate at UEW. Richard’s research interest is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. Richard has published in high-quality journals and is a reviewer for several journals.
As a Global health specialist and Epidemiologist in UEW’s Department of Health Administration and Education, Dr Agjei teaches Introduction to Epidemiology, Global Health Issues, Comparative Healthcare Systems and Research Methods while serving as a Research Associate at the Institute of Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS). Now as Faculty and Patron of Health Administration and Education Students (HAESA), Dr. Agjei serves as Coordinator of UEW's HIV/AIDS Unit
