Background
Aziaka Duabari Silas (Ph.D) is a distinguished chartered engineer based in the United Kingdom (UK) and a visiting academic with Cranfield University, UK. His expertise lies in the fields of rotating machines and aerothermal engineering with excellent skills in gas turbine optimisation and Thermofluid systems. He obtained his Ph.D. in Rotating Machinery Engineering from Cranfield University in the UK. His research interest is in the implementation of appropriate options for retrofitting power plants to achieve carbon-free natural gas while optimising the energy requirement for solvent regeneration, including green Hydrogen for Net-Zero.
He has functioned in several academic events, has co-chaired conferences and seminars, and has presented papers at international conferences in several countries around the world. Aziaka has published several articles in reputable journals. He is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineering (IMechE) UK, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), and the Council for Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN).
