Background

Alex Amaechi Ugwuja holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He is interested in international economic relations, especially those between Africa and the Atlantic World. He is also interested in African environmental, medical, military, and transport history.  His publications have appeared in serious scholarly outlets. He co-won the British Library (EAP 1418) project to digitise the archives of the Nigerian Railway Corporation in 2022.
